"You hear which majors, and which classes, are the easiest and you take
them. You're going to school so you can stay in sports. You're not going
for a degree. It's a joke."

- Former Boise State safety Marty Tadman
(From the November 18, 2008 edition of USA Today)

This is EFFING rediculous!

If this is how many of our student-athletes feel about their academic
responsibilities, perhaps UI should adopt a 3.25 minimum GPA for a student-
athlete to maintain his/her scholarship (with absolutely NO grades below
a "C"), and progressive courses from semester to semester to semester
to . . . NO General Studies majors.

If they can't meet these standards, perhaps they should transfer to
Arizona State and play for Dennis Erickson who doesn't give a tinkers damn
about their future.

Seeya round town, Moscow.

"We're a town of about 23,000 with 10,000 college students. The college
students are not very active in local elections (thank goodness!)."

- Dale Courtney (March 28, 2007)
