It is hard to respond to your mean spirited atack on Palen. Since you preach brotherly love, you should do better. I am all for women's rights. I am the president of the Moscow Grange. The Grange was founded in the 1860"s. At their beginning they recognized the importance of women. All offices of the Grange have always been open to women. Three are reserved for women only.

> Roger, I'm all for giving people a break when they slip up on the public stage, but Sarah Palin has proved that she is an opportunistic, conniving and manipulative woman entirely out of her element, a woman whose judgment and ethics are seriously deficient, even if she were brilliant. And yet, she's given no reason for Americans to conclude anything other than this: She is an incurious, narrow-minded, uninformed, intellectually sluggish woman with a personality high on the WOW-factor scale and a face the camera loves. That might make her a ton of fun at a party; it might even make her effective in any number of public-engagement fields. But she was chosen for the slot to appease the far-religious right, which hasn't exactly distinguished itself by a demonstration of intellectual rigor or judgment, and in the grossly mistaken view that since Hillary lost, we women would flock to anyone else whose 5th grade experience included "Becoming a Woman," complete with complimen!

This is merely the start of a campaign to destroy her by false accusations. She like everyone else has make some mistakes. She did not preform well in an interview with Kate Couric and in another interview she hemed and hawed about whether bombing an Abortion clinic was terrorism. She should have stated so straight out as John McCain did. The problem is that every one else has had poor responses too, they have been ignored. People that have had personal interaction with her say that she is a highly intelligent woman with a lot of savvy. I and other conservatives that I know are willing to give Obama a chance. We will wait and see how he performs. Please be gracious in victory and quit trying to destroy her. Disagree with her views if you like, but don,t belittle her intelligence.
