  I didn't claim that I ever could understand. I don't disagree that a woman having been raped and forced to give birth to the perpetrator baby is a horrible wicked experience, and it should be dealt with by punishing the perpetrator in the harshest legal manner. I also don't think the psychological damage is not less of a horror either. But I don't think even this  justifies murder. 
   
  This being said, I don't believe abortion should be illegal. I just think it is a morally disgusting, and crime against our human nature. Illegalized abortion is impossible to enforce, costly, and easy to evade. 
   
  I believe a fetus is a human being. I look at its mistreatment as abuse of a baby. I understand it is a belief and it has no basis in law. But it is my belief, and I view others that abuse and abort fetuses the same as I would those that did the same to babies and other human beings.

  I suggest that any women raped should be given the choice as to whether or not she bears her rapist’s child. Women also have rights that are tantamount over that of any fetus. If you were a woman you would probably be able to understand that better.

    Are you advocating that we kill a baby because its father is a rapist, or because they have a 10% chance of being born with a birth defect?

     

    I consider rape and incest a major felony, and it should be prosecuted, but we shouldn't take their crimes out on their children.

     

    You must also realize, abortion for reasons of rape and incest are a tiny fraction of actual abortions.
