[Vision2020] Sali Seeks to Delay Mexican Consulate

  I am not misinformed, you are just not comprehending my statements. I never said that illegal laborers were denied emergency services. Nor did I mention medicaid or TANF. 

  Illegal aliens get ID cards that can be used in place of Visa's and Driver's licenses for food stamps, low income housing, emergency services, driver's licenses, bank accounts, registration for public schools, and of course, financial aid. 

  Illegal laborers hurt the unemployment welfare funds because they replace US workers that are forced to get unemployment because they cannot find a job with a livable wage. 

  Yes, Andreas, I am aware that an illegal laborer in the US who gives birth to a child in the US, that child is a US citizen. I didn't say otherwise. Another example of Liberal Elites twisting the argument. But my point was that the US cannot afford to care for the children of every illegal laborer. And not all illegal immigrants give birth to children in the US. Some of them bring their children here and insist that the US taxpayer pay for them.

It's frequently, and correctly, been ruled that illegal immigrants
can't be denied emergency health care, but the requirements to prove
citizenship for federally-funded services like Medicaid and TANF are
onerous at best*. In order to get either, you have to provide
documentation of both citizenship and identity: in other words, a
birth certificate and a driver's license.
