[Vision2020] Barack Obama's Unity Speech Today in Philadelphia

I think it is easy to say that we are all one race, because we all agree. However, we must not ignore, or bury our heads in the sand, not recognizing that some people, including children, have a much harder time growing up and living in this country because they are discriminated against simple for their skin color.

This is why White people are shocked to find out that Black Ministers and Preachers around the country, and Black people in general, are still harboring bad feelings toward Whites. Not just for what they have done in the far past, recent past, but also for the way they are mistreated today.

As I said before, how many rocks can be thrown at your head before you hold a grudge.

  Best Regards,

  Donovan

Were are all people. Most of us are a mix from various racial backgrounds. All of this should be irrelevant. Were are all Americans period. Lets get over the hyphenated prefixes.

There are those of us who recognize only ONE race among our kind. Unless you can prove to me that you are from some place beyond the stars, then you are a member of the HUMAN race. So get over it. Obama is one of us. I, for one, am sick and tired of hearing that his mother was "white" and his father "black". Like the rest of us, his mother was "female" and his father a "male". Period.

The only conclusion I can come to is that your candidate for sainthood has a huge double standard when it comes to racism and free speech. Specifically, it's OK for him and his but not so much for the melanin impoverished. You might want to put the halo on hold, your hero has clay clodhoppers.

> I have never in my life been so proud of someone in public office before. It was, for me, a church experience: Truth spoken prophetically, without adornment, cowardice, or guile. I believe it will be viewed with the historical and social significance of JFK's "ask not" speech. Obama demonstrated a presence that I have not seen in 30 years as a voter, but that well embodied the spirit of Lucretia Mott, Mary McLeod Bethune, Frederick Douglass, Wm. Lloyd Garrison, and George Fox. Saints and heroes, all.OK, Dale -- pile on.Keely> To: vision2020 at moscow.com> From: thansen at moscow.com> Date: Wed, 19 Mar 2008 02:46:28 +0000> Subject: [Vision2020] Barack Obama's Unity Speech Today in Philadelphia> > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN_Su8ywLwk> > Seeya round town, Moscow.> > Tom Hansen> Moscow, Idaho> > "People who ridicule others while hiding behind anonymous monikers in chat-> room forums are neither brave nor clever." > > - Latah County Sheriff Wayne Rausch (August 21,> 2007)>!
