Urban Renewal District Ideas & Models on Display 

 

Moscow, Idaho, June 11, 2008 - The Moscow Urban Renewal Agency is
hosting a reception during Art Walk on Friday June 13 from 5 - 7 p.m.
Class projects led by Professor Nels Reece and Professor Randy Teals
will be on display on the first floor of City Hall.  These projects
represent ideas of what could be developed in the Legacy Crossing Urban
Renewal District through a 3 dimensional modal and boards.  At the event
cookies created by Laura Flowers, recent recipient of the Martha Stewart
"Favorite Cookie" award will be served.  Information will be provided on
the current urban renewal districts in Moscow including Alturas Research
and Technology Park and the Legacy Crossing Urban Renewal District.

 

In addition, the Third Street Gallery located within City Hall is
hosting Betty Jo Fitzgerald's work titled "Whimsey Works" which is on
display on the second and third floors of City Hall.
