[Vision2020] Deer downtown

Hi Carl et al,

 

Does anyone know the outcome of the deer vs town encounter?  Wildlife vs
civilization encounters are always of interest to me, and I'm hoping there
was a satisfactory resolution to this incident.  I checked MPD's DAL (daily
activity log), but that call wasn't posted yet.

 

Let's hope MPD hasn't taken lessons from the <gag> governor's office
regarding civilization vs wildlife encounters!

I just picked up lunch at Mingle's, and there is a deer at the corner of
Main and Second.  There were 2 police cars and it looked like the police
were trying to get it out of it's hiding spot, curled up in a doorway.  Hope
it goes well for all parties concerned.  Carl Westberg Jr.
