[Vision2020] Huckabee: Amend Constitution to be in 'God's standards'

Why, I think ol' Mike's on to something.  I for one would LOVE to see the Biblical teachings regarding justice for the poor and oppressed adopted as the law of the land -- you know, kinda as if poor people and their plight was a moral issue . . . 

But I suppose it's easier to shout from the cheap seats about gay marriage and abortion, rather than engage on the field with those dreary widows, orphans, immigrants and minorities the Scriptures talk about.  Under this scenario, I can stay in my heterosexual marriage, proudly proclaim that I've never had an abortion, and look down on others not like me rather than have to give up much on behalf of people who need precisely the kind of help I and others could provide.
