Just to make it clear - the Latah County Democratic caucus being held on
Tuesday, February 5 is open to supporters of ANY AND ALL candidates for
the Democratic nomination for President. Come and support the candidate
of your choice, whether it be Senator Clinton, Senator Obama or a
different candidate. All are welcome and participation is good.

	Dear Visionaries,

Yes, we can stand up for Barack Obama and the change that
America needs!

Tuesday night, February 5, be sure to attend the Latah County
Democratic caucus at the Latah COunty Fairgrounds... to be counted, you
must be present and in the room not later than 7 PM... the doors close
then.

Caucus chair Amy Ford sent this message along earlier today:

Caucus participants at the Latah County Democratic Caucus,
please note: Before you are allowed to indicate your presidential
preference at the caucus, you must sign a pledge that you will be
eligible to vote by the November election, you are a Democrat, and that
you are willing to have your name published as such. The reason you have
to agree to have your name published is that everyone participating in
the caucus is eligible to be a delegate at the Idaho Democratic Party
State Convention, and by rule, all 16 delegates must have their names
published in local papers so that party members know who their
representatives are at convention. People who have voted Republican and
Independent in the past are welcome at the Democratic caucus but must
still sign the pledge. Because Idaho does not register people to vote by
their party affiliation, the pledge does not have any impact on your
voter registration or your eligibility to participate in either party's
primary election in May.

If you are asked about the pledge by friends, particularly
Independent and Republican ones, please pass the word that unless they
are a delegate, their name will not be made public.

The Caucus involvves announcing that you support Obama for
president... and electing delegates to the Idaho State Democratic
Convention for Obama, the number being based upon the proportion of
those attending who support Obama.

I am a candidate for delegate and hope, eventually, to be
elected a delegate to the National Convention. This is the first step
in that process. I was a delegate to the National Convention in 1980 and
in 1992. I can truly tell you that this is the most hopeful I have felt
about the chance to put the U.S. back on track in years.

Visit Bookpeople and order Barack's books, Reflections from My
Father and/or The Audacity of Hope. This thoughtful, capable, successful
Senator writes from the heart and has dealt with his spiritual
challenges!

Our country has work to do to restore our reputation, with our
citizens and with the world. Idaho's first step is Tuesday night!

	All the best,

	Linda Pall
