IDF San Francisco — Today, Intel revealed the outlines of its plans to enter 
the market for flash-based solid-state drives by announcing a trio of new 
products and their basic specs.

The first product should be available in a month or two, and the latter two 
next year. Pricing is yet unknown, but likely starting closer to executive 
bling than chocolate chips.

This announcement may be one for your history notes -- the beginning of the
