I don't know about that, he just about bit ASUI Senator Justin Eslinger's head off when he misprounced his name while hosting the 2003 UI's City Council debate.

Subject: [Vision2020] Carscallen Can

  It looks like Dan Carscallen might have half a chance to get the third most votes and win a city council seat. I say this for three reasons;

  1) He has been endorsed by the GMA. This will make his name more visible to the public as an endorsed candidate. He has the added bounce of having a last name that comes before the other two endorsed candidates, so his name always comes first in every add.

  2) He has many weak opponents. Pall, Lamar, and that other guy.

  3) There will be a higher conservative turn out this election than usual.

  The real question is, how will Carscallen handle hundreds of people constantly mispronouncing his name?

  Best,

  Donovan
