It was a simple matter of Ellen Roskovich's posting a short humorous note.  I truly am sorry if you can't seem to laugh along with us.

I'd like to think that Donovan would not let someone commandeer his e-mail address for wholesale ghost writing under his name.  Maybe Donovan has been at a writing workshop, where they assign aspiring word smiths the task of composing in entirely new styles diametrically opposed to their usual.  Or perhaps he's been reading new authors, and is aping their style.  This can happen unconsciously.  Or perhaps someone has hacked into Donovan's account, or found out his password somehow... 
 
No, I am not suggesting someone hates anyone... I'm waving my magic wand and all hate in our world will disappear...Birkenstocks optional.
 
Today while cycling in Pullman I found a yard sale.  There was a box with a compass with Arabic writing, with a picture of the Ka'ba (in Mecca in Saudi Arabia).  I immediately knew this must be for finding the direction to pray for a Muslim's prayers, though I had never considered that a compass would be used for this purpose.  I queried someone at the yard sale, and he said that was his sisters. 
 
My magic wand informs me (yes, it's a talking magic wand!) that stopping all hate in the world is beyond it's capabilities...But it suggested that all children be taught to pray the prayers of all the world's religions with respect, to stop the hate.

I had the same impression earlier today, before reading any of these posted questions about the "authenticity" of recent Arnold Donovan posts...There was something about the style that quickly suggested a ghost writer... 
 
I also divined the hand of Joan Opry in at least editing some of Rose Huskey's text on her web site, but this would not be such a big surprise, if this is true (I may be entirely wrong).  The best writers often have editors who make corrections and suggestions.  And what a bonus if someone of Opry's caliber can offer advice.
