This is not a new group - it simply came out when Doug figured the
timing was right.  His "speeches" from the pulpit did not just start -
they were going strong as early as in 1998, if not sooner. 

Doug is on a lot - A   L O T - of boards as an "unofficial official" and controls what happens on each of those boards.  I remember when we were still in the church and his saying in a HOH that we (the kirker/CC) had to continue the "political-non-political fight" without looking political and I remember his talking about putting this board together.  Back then, of course, there was no official name or title to the board, but Mike Lawyer and Eric Burnett and Bob H (among others) all had a hand in creating it with - that's WITH - Doug's oversight and approval each and every step of the way - including the naming of the board and the make-up of the board as well as the mission statement. 

You don't understand just how much power Doug has over anything that he creates and runs.  NOTHING happens unless he says it does or only when he says it does.

Doug is like an insidious cancer - you don't know his strength and infiltration until its too late to excise him.  Moscow is at the point of just discovering his destructive and corrosive abilities.  My hope is that we all wake up! before he gets to the point of no return.  Otherwise by the time we do, Doug and his bunch will be on an island, sipping some tropical drink and laughing all the way to the bank.....

Hate to disappoint you, but not only is Doug a member - its HIS baby.  GMA was thought of and developed by Doug and his "elders" and put into fruition by his minions.  MOST of the board and members originally were made up of his people/businesses.  And, this was all in the works years before anyone actually saw it.  Got any explanation as to why it came out of the closet (so to speak) just as Kimmel left office at the CoC?

I'm not going to get into Doug and his crap. I just think you need to smear GMA with these simple falsehoods. For one Doug is not a member, as far as I know. Two, they are not selling moscow away. Just keep it clean thats all I'm saying.
