I the case on our street, the signs are not in the right-of-way, and the
sticks were left, just the signs taken.

  Sign removal seems to be a problem for all of the candidates.  The City
will remove signs located in the public right of way (and let the candidate
know where they can be picked up).  However, signs have been disappearing
from private property as well.  People can be ticketed if they are caught
taking signs.  If anyone sees someone taking a sign, it would be great to
let them know that it is unlawful.
