Gee I dunno . . . maybe it's just to radical for even this group,
but I can't imagine ANYone would think it's a bad idea to refrain from
posting insulting, demeaning, namecalling and character assassination
that tries, but fails miserably, to pass for witty repartee. This
nonsense is supposed to show those outside (and inside) of our
community how we "encourage more public information and debate" and
"participate in the future of our community" ??

I like it, but why limit it to $1? either way it goes to
charity, so let the bidding begin! Before we start though, pick a local
charity to benefit. It would be cool if you both chose the same
  one.

    Tom Hansen,

I will except your challenge but with one change.

Instead of us donating $200, how about instead a one month self
enforced ban from posting to Vision 2020.

That's right! Whomever intentionally and blatantly insults another
vision 2020 poster first, including ourselves, loses, and must refrain from
posting to Vision 2020 for a period of one month.

Any money raised, by others betting on us will go the victor's chosen
    charity.

Bets should be for no more than $1 dollar, and no less than 25
cents per day per bidder. No bidder will bid more than $30 total per
    individual, or $60 per household.

I nominate Tom Ivie to record the bidding amounts for the charity to be
collected. And his amounts to be confirmed by Gary Crabtree.

Either way this goes down, I think Vision2020 wins.

However, to make this worth while, at least ten people from V2020 must
contact Tim Ivie with a bid--which I don't think should be too hard.

    Best,

    Donovan

      Mr. Arnold
      –

      You publicly offered a
      challenge:

      ----------------
       "Tom Hansen,
If you feel the need to bet regarding insulting people. Why don't you bet me that you can last longer than me without insulting a vision 2020 poster?"

      -----------------------------------------------
 I accepted your challenge:

      ---------------- You're on.
The loser to donate $200.00 (two hundred dollars) to the charity of the winner's choice, followed up with a receipt (scanned and posted to V2020) reflecting that
 such donation actually took place.

      -----------------------------------------------
I inquired as to whether you were up for your challenge or not:

      ---------------- Deal?
      -----------------------------------------------
We await your response, Mr. Arnold.
