Except that this story is a complete fabrication.  The author should
be ashamed, but of course they won't be, because they enjoy fomenting
lies.  There were no other parties in the restaurant other than those
already described; this has been clearly established.

This is the danger of thoughtlessly spreading an unverifiable tale.
It leads to bigger, more deliberate lies, like this one.

Sunil, does this qualify as slander?
