Apparently there is another, possibly serial pedophile, in our midst
who Mr Hansen DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT!

The individual in question is NOT Steven Sitler, but Christopher
Basting.  This is a local registered offender, convicted in July of
2005, several months before Steven Sitler's conviction.  He, like Mr
Sitler, was accused of several offenses, convicted of one, under Idaho
Statute 18-1508.  And yet in a May 29th post, Tom Hansen states:

"I could not find any record of Christopher Busting."

Fortunately, he may be taken off our streets.

An earlier post by Mr Crabtree referred to several sex offenders whom
Mr Hansen rather glibly dismissed by noting that:

"all but one of these offenders has not been convicted in several
years.  None of them have a history commensurate with Steven J. Sitler
and his dozens of dozens of dozens of offenses."   Well, if being
convicted a few month prior to Mr Sitler's conviction is "several
years" then you are correct.  And if you have some information
relevant to their history and offenses "Would you be so kind as to
provide it?"

"There is nothing to reflect any of these felons as being repeat
offenders, definitely not to the scale of Steven J. Sitler (and his
dozens of dozens of dozens of offenses.)"

There may be many things that would reflect the possibility of repeat
offenses.  I can't seem to find reams of court documents on your
website that allow you to make such a sweeping statement.  And I'm
digging, as Mr Herodotus suggested I do, to find legitimate
documentation addressing this, as well as legitimate documentation on
Mr Sitler's dozens of dozens of dozens of offenses.  Don't get me
wrong - ONE offense is MORE THAN ENOUGH,  but you seem to go way over
the top on two individuals and ignore all the others.  As Mr Crabtree
asks "Where are your "legitimate fears. . .and concerns"

Bill Thompson has stated:

" . . . there are other victims of Mr. Sitler. None of these victims
or their families have otherwise come forward although they have all
been contacted and advised of the defendant's disclosures."

I find no hard numbers here.  In fact, I can't find any numbers
anywhere, aside from a letter your website in which a family describes
in detail what Sitler did to the couple's two-year old daughter.

Am I trying to garner sympathy for Mr Sitler??  Of course not.  I'm
just trying to get a handle on the rationale behind the agendas.  And
Mr Herodotus, if you want to start another "It's all about Doug"
tirade - save it.  If Doug Wilson is SO powerful he can manipulate
Steven Sitler and Jamin Wight to continue on their horrendous paths;
if he is SO powerful he can delay registration on the Sex Offender
Site;  if he is SO powerful he can manipulate the prosecutor's office,
our judges, our police and our sheriff, I'd STFU and do everything I
could NOT to piss him off!
