Greetings Visionaires -

This week's show was loaded with enlightening, thought-provoking, and
sometimes humorous commentary by Auntie, flavored with an exceptional and
quite appropriate selection of music. Auntie accomplished this feat by her
lonesome as Brother Carl was excused to attend the Westberg Family Reunion,
an annual activity attended by Westberg family members whose numbers stagger
the imaginations of mortal beings. But accomplish the show Auntie did, and
in a very impressive fashion, discussing such topics as Tom Lamar's
appointment to the Moscow City Council, the deadly use of car bombs in
London, the succession of Gordon Brown to Prime Minister of England, and the
recent conviction (and eventual pardon) of "Scooter" Libby, as well as many
other local and national issues.

This week's song dedication goes out to Vice President Cheney and Moscow's
very own resident sociopath (see if you can guess who). You both (one
elected, the other self-appointed) are in positions that function most
effectively when the nation or (in our case) the community have faith,
trust, and (most importantly) respect in those responsible whether it be in
the office of the Vice President or behind the cloth. Although you have
shown total lack of respect for your respective constituents and
congregation, whether it be by claiming your office not to be part of this
nation's executive branch one day and exercising executive privilege the
next, or simply claiming religious persecution while showing total disregard
to city zoning codes, how can you mentor when you don't even . . .

"Respect Yourself"
http://tinyurl.com/27eq7z

"If you disrespect anybody that you run in to
How in the world do you think anybody's s'posed to respect you
If you don't give a heck 'bout the man with the bible in his hand
Just get out the way, and let the gentleman do his thing
You the kind of gentleman that want everything your way
Take the sheet off your face, boy, it's a brand new day

Respect yourself, respect yourself
If you don't respect yourself
Ain't nobody gonna give a good cahoot, na na na na
Respect yourself, respect yourself

If you're walking 'round think'n that the world owes you something cause
You're here you goin' out the world backwards like you did when you
Put your hand on your mouth when you cough, that'll help the solution
Oh, you cuss around women and you don't even know their names and you
Dumb enough to think that'll make you a big ol man."

Seeya round town, Moscow.
