[Vision2020] Fw: Why I didn't vote for Brady

Mo Udall was one of a kind for sure. He was a good listener, treated people
with respect and, yes, had a good handshake and the ability to look you in
the eye.
Wasn't he diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease?

Yeah, he's pretty wonderful. My man -- I think I'll keep him. And only one
of us has or will ever run for office, and here's a hint: it's not him.

(Anyone else remember those nauseating "My wife -- I think I'll keep her?"
commercials in the late 60s? What did they advertise?).

My personal political hero was Arizona Congressman Mo Udall, a close friend
of my parents' and grandprents' and a thoroughly wise, decent, kind, and
capable man who served southern Arizona very well for several terms. They
don't make 'em like that anymore. How I wish, politically speaking, the
same could be said for Tom Luna and Bill Sali.

I can think of a number of men in both parties who fit that description, and
I continue to enjoy their perspectives and appreciate their efforts. Many
of those efforts are reflected in Idaho laws and regulations, though the men
may no longer be in office.

Keely, I'm not sure all of them would have been great husbands
though.....better hang on to the great guy you have.
