[Vision2020] WOW! BSU Makes SI Front Page

That was easy. I'm not sure if this is the game Pat was referring to because we were being reminded of a game that was:
1) won in the last second as opposed to untimed OT
2) won on a run play and not a pass play
3) won by a team coached by John L not Chris Tormey
Also there was a comment about how soon we forget. I have a good memory, but this one certainly does escape me.

As much as I appreciate your support for the Idaho program, Pat, I feel we
must set the record straight.
The game-winning 2-point conversion you are referencing I do not believe was
accomplished under John L. Smith, but under Chris Tormey.
The two-point conversion not only won the game for Idaho, but placed them in
the 1998 Humanitarian Bowl on December 30, 1998 as 14-point underdogs agains
Southern Mississippi. Idaho went on to win that game also.
The 2-point conversion consisted of a weak-side screeen pass to Joel Thomas
A quick quiz concerning the 2-point converson:
1) Who was Idaho's opponent? Where did the game take place?
2) Extra Credit: Who was the quarterback that passed the ball to Joel
Thomas? (hint: His initials are J. W.)
