[Vision2020] Fwd: vision 2020 proposal

Debbie et. al.

Of course subject headings on Vision2020 should accurately indicate the
content of posts, to prevent subscribers wasting their time opening posts on
subjects they dislike or have no interest in. A code like you suggest might
help.

I have requested that more attention be paid to subject headings matching
post content, but given this unmoderated list, these suggestions have had
little effect, it seems.

However, I usually do not have difficulty ignoring subjects I do not want to
read about, or threads I do not want to participate in. Usually the subject
headings do provide enough info on post content.

Thanks for granting me permission, when you wrote "go for it," to "nitpick,"
as you termed it, regarding the chilling effect on free speech that might
result from your suggestion certain topics be taken off Vision2020. If you
continue to suggest that people who wish to discuss certain topics that
clearly are relevant to Moscow's future take their concerns elsewhere, I
will!

Your generosity of spirit is heartening!

May freedom of speech continue on Vision2020...Without the tragedy of the
commons inflicting too much damage.

Speaking of which, this is at least three posts from yours truly today, over
the one or two post a day limit, that was at one time the suggested limit
for daily posts by one subscriber. My bad!

I don't know how the informally agreed upon limit became three posts a day,
as some now suggest.
