Idaho got a new football recruit that had originally committed to Arizona 
State, but after Dennis Erickson arrived, he changed his mind.  Guess where 
he's going, and pay attention to the reason he chose Idaho:  Redlands 
(Calif.) East Valley linebacker Andre Ferguson had committed to Arizona 
State back in October.
But with the firing of Dirk Koetter following the 2006 season and the 
eventual hiring of Dennis Erickson in Tempe, Ferguson chose to reopen his 
recruitment.

On Wednesday, he made a surprising choice.

"I'm signing with the University of Idaho," said Ferguson.

A three-star prospect ranked 39th nationally at strongside linebacker and #6 
at that position in California, Ferguson had consecutive triple-digit tackle 
seasons.

One thing stood out for Ferguson in choosing Idaho.

"The integrity they show," said Ferguson.
