[Vision2020] sledding hills

Bruce,

Considering that anyone living in California is subjected to perpetual "sunny and 72 degree" weather, I'd recommend that no Californians ever go sledding outdoors in real snow.  What's the temperature right now in Moscow?  Somewhere around an uninhabitable 34 degrees?  Good luck...

A co-worker with out-of-town guests from California, 
including some college-age kids, would like suggestions on the best 
place to go sledding in or near Moscow.

 

I suggested two places where I have seen kids sledding, at 
McDonald Elementary School and in the vacant Thatuna right-of-way at the jog in 
Mountainview Road.  Any suggestions on better 
places to go for a great sled ride?
