 Holiday Open House, Open Late on December 13






More than fifty locally-owned businesses in downtown Moscow will stay open until 9pm with snacks, live music, free samples and specials to welcome holiday visitors on Thursday, December 13. The event, Downtown Open House, Open Late, is sponsored by Buy Local Moscow to showcase the unique locally-owned shopping options in Moscow. 




Everyone is invited -- bring the entire family downtown, walk from store to store and join in the fun. The participating businesses will provide excitement, music and holiday treats to share the holiday spirit.




Thirty-three downtown shops will host displays and demonstrations from 19 other Moscow businesses, for a total of 52 participating local businesses. A complete listing of the participating businesses and the scheduled events is available on posters in participating shops and on the group's website at www.buylocalmoscow.com.




Buy Local Moscow is a recently-formed community organization of 75 locally-owned independent businesses. Moscow continues to be a vibrant community because these businesses reinvest their profits locally, donate consistently to local programs, maintain diverse product choices, and strengthen Moscow's unique character.
