Arnold -
You stated that a gay person COULD NOT get a job, let alone run for
political office, simply because they are gay. You did not stipulate
"Idaho".
I simply provided one (Barney Frank) of many examples where you are wrong.
You stated:
"If a Black Conservative was going to get axed because he was Black, would
you sit back and support it because he was conservative?"
NO! And I take this comment very seriously, Arnold.
During the course of my 20-year Army career I have put my stripes on the
company/battalion commander's desk several times in defense of subordinates
(and peers) whose philosophies I did not agree with. I did so simply
because I felt in my heart of hearts they were being wronged. I AM NOT a
sellout, Arnold, willing give up my ethics to the highest bidder.
Above all else, I value a person by their word. You say what you mean and
you mean what you say.
I remember you, Arnold, claiming to be a "liberal activist" right here on
the Viz. You have sold out, Arnold, quicker than two-bit hooker at an Acme
convention. The only two things you are missing are a street lamp and a
price tag.

That is Massachusetts, I don't think that is Idaho. And he isn't a Senator,
and he isn't high ranked.
You are saying a gay guy who wants to be active in politics needs to go to
Massachusetts, right? Get real.
Tom Hansen is just fine with forcing gay people out of office if they don't
agree with him? Republicans are about to axe a man from his Senate position
because he is gay. But Hansen is fine with that discrimination because the
guy is conservative.
If a Black Conservative was going to get axed because he was Black, would
you sit back and support it because he was conservative?
Who is a hypocrite is Tom Hansen, who doesn't understand that guy who gets
his ass kicked everyday, and his family members too, for being out has
little choice. I really do doubt, that if Tom Hansen had his family members
threatened and losing their jobs because of his sexuality he would publicly
be out with it too. But then again, maybe people attacking and harassing him
and his family members wouldn't bother him.

I beg to differ with you, Arnold.
Congressman Barney Frank (Fourth District, Massachusetts) is openly gay and
has been active in politics since 1968.

The term "Gay Republican Hypocrite" used to be considered a series of
contradictions. It has since evolved into a regular headline.
