Paul Rumelhart stated:
"Mr. Sali needs to think beyond the present. When he says he wants
Congress to pray to the God of the Bible, he means HIS God of the
Bible."
What Mr. Sali needs to realize is that the US House of Representative is NOT
the right place to discuss acceptable and unacceptable religious behavior,
be it Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddha, Wiccan, or any other religion).
Mr. Rumelhart goes on to inquire:
"What if a Christian sect that he despises takes power?"
That's what is neat about the US Constitution, Mr. Rumelhart. It, the
Constitution (pronounced "We, the people"), simply does not any particular
religion to "take power".
However, it must be realized that if Jesus were to return, prior to November
of 2008, it is extremely doubtful that (s)he would be packing a gun (you
listening, Moscow?) or voting Republican.
Seeya round town, Moscow.

chat-room forums are neither brave nor clever."
