Then what do Catholics call women who have had their marriages annuled by the Church?  They aren't wives, and they aren't dead necessarily?  Of course if they are dead, are they still wives?  Surely Paul missed a golden opportunity to write an epistle covering these circumstances.

  Rudy is Catholic, so it is the same thing when there is no such thing as ex wives only living and dead ones. When Rudy's opposition is not longer divided among nine other conservative candidates, his candidacy will fall like a house of cards on a windy day. If it weren't for 9/11 people outside NYC would be saying, "Rudy who?"
