"I was talking to someone yesterday who knows someone who heard
something from someone who might have thought that he heard from
somebody that they thought they heard that the work on Washington street
might be finished by tomorrow?"

Moscow official: Street work is nearly finished
Staff report Tuesday, September, 26th, 2006
Two major construction projects in Moscow are nearing completion.
The Idaho Department of Transportation's Washington Street project will
be completed by the end of the week, Moscow Public Works Director Les
MacDonald said.
The west side was paved Monday and the east side will be paved today.
Utility adjustments will be made on Wednesday and striping will take
place Thursday and Friday, MacDonald said.
Sixth Street should be open to the public by the middle of next week.
"It's not simply a repaving job; it's a complete reconstruction of the
roadway," MacDonald said of the project.
The process has included installation of new sewer mains, utilities,
trench work, excavation, installation of geotextile and gravel, curb and
gutter work.
Base coarse paving is scheduled for Friday and top coarse paving is
scheduled for Monday, he said.
The First Street storm main project, located between Grant and Cleveland
streets, should finish this week.
On the city's overlay project, grinding work started this week on
portions of Lauder Street, F Street, Sixth Street and Third Street.
Paving is scheduled to begin next week, and Third Street reconstruction
will also begin midway through next week.
