WIS -- Outstanding music, outstanding sound!

Washington Idaho Symphony opens its 35th anniversary season Saturday, and
you are invited to the celebration! WIS is so proud to have been invited to
open Washington State University’s Visual, Performing, and Literary Arts
Committee’s year-long program, “The Art of Confrontation,” and perform in
the lovely WSU auditorium, Bryan Hall (the Clock Tower). Under the gifted
baton of Nicholas Wallin, the program for Concert 1 includes Mozart’s
Overture from Don Giovanni; Symphony No. 1 by Ellen Taafe Zwillich; and,
Symphony No. 4 by Carl Nielsen.

Season tickets are the best kept secret on the Palouse – a third less
expensive than single tickets at the door! They are available at the
Chamber office, Bookpeople, and will be mailed or held at the door by
calling either 332-3408 or 882-4899.  ($51/full season; $41/four-ticket set;
$15/single). You are encouraged to introduce your children to this vital
form of music -- the symphony orchestra. Children are admitted free with a
paying adult.

Saturday, September 23, Bryan Hall, WSU, Pullman, 8:00 pm. A second
performance will be given on Sunday, September 24, Clarkston High School
Auditorium, 3:00 pm.
