John's Alley, that has been at the same location (at least since my wife
attended UI in the late 60s and her sister in the early 60s), may not have
any windows, but it is the only tavern in Moscow that offers live music
(bands from Seattle, San Diego, etc.) two or three times a week year-round.
Although I may not have seen any drag shows at the Alley, I am certain that
if the owner were approached with such an idea, he would support it.
