Might I also suggest that you register BEFORE you get there, to make sure 
things move along quickly enough?  But if you need to register at the polls, 
make sure you have the proper ID and papers necessary so you won't get 
frustrated when they send you home to get them.  No ID, no registration.  
Don't laugh; it happens almost every election that someone forgets their 
stuff and then takes it out on the ladies and gents at the tables when all 
they are doing is their jobs.
