I would like to add to Chasuk's comments by saying that:

If Mike Rogers' allegation is correct, we should not look at it as an
incident of homosexuality as much as Senator Craig's violation of his
marriage vows.  If his spouse cannot rely on him remaining loyal to his
marriage, how can we rely on him being loyal to his state?
