[Vision2020] [Vision2020 liberals, courts, and Tony (was Pledge)

Yes, it is a fine morning . . . waking up to your continued insistence that
I care not a whit about crime victims only sweetens it.

I do care greatly about victims of crime. It's convincing you that I do
that I'm not at all concerned about.

Good morning Keely, and isn't it a FINE mornin"?

I'm a little confused -- what exactly did I say in my post to Paul that you
found "ugly"?

The legitimate concerns you voiced regarding bigotry and socio-economic
status are concerns I of course share, but such cases are, I believe, not
the primary motivation for the bulk of the endless legal maneuvers I
credited defense attorneys with. It boils down to cash -- job security. I
do not, ANY MORE THAN YOU, oppose a retrial where it can clearly be
demonstrated that an abuse of the type you mention has occurred. But Keely,
you know darn good and well that there are a raging torrent of fallacious
appeals and other measures choking the system and delaying closer for tens
of thousands of suffering victims nationwide. Where is your compassion for
THEIR plight??

I have to say, Keely that it is your view that American society is the
"debauched and bloodthirsty" entity as opposed to the predatory criminal
element, which is the true obscenity here. Again I plead with you: WHERE IS
YOUR COMPASSION FOR THE VICTIMS OF CRIMINALS??? You seem only to fear the
state, big brother, da' system.... This isn't 1968, wake up and smell the
latte'.

As for your smug and self satisfied crack about Lady Justice, TELL IT TO THE
CENTRAL PARK JOGGER!!!!!! But do speak up Keely, her cognition is
permanently impaired.

Now go do the RIGHT thing. -T
