A panel discussion about counterinsurgency measures and human rights
will be presented at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Horizon Room, on the fourth
floor of the UI Commons.
Dale Graden, from the University of Idaho, will speak on the culture of
counterinsurgency at the U.S. Army’s Western Hemisphere Institute for
Security Cooperation (formerly the School of the Americas) at Fort
Benning, Ga., and Jocelyn Parkhurst, from Lewis-Clark State College,
will speak on the psychology of image perceptions of insurgents and
governments.
A discussion will follow, moderated by Bertie Weddell.
