Paul Rumelhart reflected:

"But then again, I've often wondered if Rush Limbaugh is really just faking
being a conservative windbag. I mean, he does it so well, he must be
acting. I guess that's what they mean when they say that truth is stranger
than fiction."

Concerning Limbaugh: Perhaps it isn't what is said as to how it is said. A
good analogy would be the "transformation" of Cassius Clay (later Muhammad
Ali). During the early 1960's, when Cassius Clay first entered boxing, his
interviews were calm, non-confrontational, and very demure. Interviewing
Shirley Temple caused more excitement. Then wrestler Gorgeous George
advised Cassius Clay to be loud, intimidating, and somewhat threatening
during his interviews. Cassius Clay took George's advice. The more
obnoxious and intimidating Clay was during the interviews, the more people
tuned in to "hate" him. The more the people tuned in, the more they
attended, and watched, his fights. This easily translated to BIG MONEY.

So, what I am saying is that, although, Limbaugh may actually believe some
of the "manure" he is spreading, it's the manner in which that manure is
spread that draws attention.

I mean, to be truly that ignorant, you would have to be Bill Sali.
