[Vision2020] Active Troops by and large, support Bush....

The Tet Offensive was a general attack in January 1968 by North Vietnamese
forces against South Vietnamese cities.
Militarily, North Vietnam lost since they suffered heavy losses and failed
to hold any city. But strategically (through media coverage) North Vietnam
delivered a severe blow to the U.S. by showing that the war was far from
over and undermining domestic support, thereby winning the battle of public
opinion and the war.
Clear enough?

Kai and ToeKnee -
Let me preface my comments with a simple statement of fact.
The article "Active Troops Going Public to Oppose War" was written and
published by the Army Times, the unofficial publication of the US Army.
In all of my twenty years of military service I NEVER once heard the Army
Times referred to as (to quote ToeKnee) "the best friend of the Viet cong"
or as a supporter of ANY subversive organization. Perhaps ToeKnee should
elaborate further. Should the Army TIimes be discredited for publishing
this article? Or should I be discredited for reading it?
Kai Eiselein claims that "the US won the TET Offensive". Kai, I would
hardly consider TET '68 to be a US victory. Please clarify.
Anxiously awaiting, but not expecting, a mature response.
Pro patria,
