You are a real hero, Tom. I am so very impressed to even have the privilege to know you. Did you get a piece of rice in your arse, like John Kerry did, or did some barmaid beat the crap out of you and break your leg?

I suspose you don't like to talk about your war wound because it brings memories flooding back to haunt you and give you night mares,, right?

All I asked, and I asked in earnest, was: What was the story behind the picture? I asked it because I was concerned and cared, not because I wanted to belittle the situation or put you down. You are paranoid.

Go get em... hero...

And may I say, dick, as a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV), I welcome your support.

  Thank you.

  Hey,

You are the one who posted the picture. I only asked if you would care to share the story behind it. Meaning, what happened to you?

Don't get so sensitive over nothing, if you don't want to share, that's ok. For someone who purposefully tries to diminish others you sure get huffy over nothing when someone asks you a question.

Three months in the Wuerzburg Universitat Hospital followed by two months in the Army Hospital, Wuerzburg (total of 11 operations) and off to San Diego for reconstructive surgery.

It is not a "story", dick.

    Enough said.

While we are sharing pictures, dick -

Here is a photo taken on December 21, 1986 at the US Army Hospital, Landstuhl.

Ten guesses who that is standing on the loading dock as he was being medevac'd to the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego.
