[Vision2020] Rodeo Center

Since Global has been mentioned, I'll add this: I haven't seen the "nice
looking" finished mall and don't fully recognize its contribution, but
Global did not do much for positive community development by placing such an
UGLY modular unit (there can be BEAUTY in modulars) on such a visible
location. The same goes for Washington Mutual at the Palouse Empire Mall.
Their level of investment speaks to me of a level lacking in community
commitment.

I asked the guys at Global before they moved out there how to pronounce
it, and it wasn't the snooty Cali way. I was also hoping for a Cold Stone
Creamery but the guys at Global dashed my hopes and said they heard some
government agency was looking for office space. That was months ago and
there's still a sign saying the spaces are for lease. I agree. . . it's a
very nice looking little strip mall.
