Past tense.
There WAS a book on the subject of 50 free family destinations to public
spaces in Latah County. Now sold out at Co-op. Out of print. Maybe a few
left at BookPeople. (title: Getaways, Fifty Public Places and Community
Spaces in Latah County). also, at library.
My Daily News travel column (second Saturday every month) includes
destinations outside of Latah County, for example Mann Lake (in May).
There are an incredible number of great family destinations in this region,
most free and usually unpopulated.
