Sometime ago in an amiable, private correspondence with a well known local Republican after the fiasco with Linda Pike's last campaign which DJA quite effectively undermined, I offered him DJA.  He not so politely refused.

To my Republican friend:  Nah, nah, nah, nah!  You've got him now! 

Whew!!!!! is right.
