[Vision2020] Vandal football talk

We should  meet, Joe and Kai, to reminisce about this '82 U of A grad's 
favorite haunt, Gentle Ben's.  (It was actually The Shanty, but that was 
only for booze-sodden journalism professors and the young students who loved 
them!).  Remember Gentle Ben's promise of "The Coldest Beer in Town," which 
meant a lot to those of us who remember 110-degree summers in Tucson . . .

Kai,

I feel your pain. I received my PhD from Arizona and now I teach at WSU. I 
openly cheer for the Cougs but I am a closet Wildcat fan. At least until 
now! (Thank goodness my students don't read Vision 2020.)

Make sure your daughter takes some philosophy courses! Philosophy majors 
finish ahead of English majors in the verbal GRE, #2 in the LSAT (law school 
test), and #1 in the GMAT -- the test for business grad school. Business 
majors finish dead last among majors in the GMAT, by the way.
