Before I get hate mail here. The photo I provided of Bush waiving the Mexican flag was from an ad campaign in 2004... It was my impression that this happened at a recent rally as well, but couldn't find a photo.. Despite the slight inaccuracy of the information, it does reveal Bush's hand, thus should have served as a sign to us real conservatives as to his future actions and where his localities lie. Yes, hindsight is 2020.hmmm

What a piece of work!!! That prehistoric relic, CBS flunky, and anti-American rhetoricist uses a weak analogy, at best, to support his ludicrous position. Yes, "English only," and I am thinking about an initiative to officially name English as our National language. Perhaps common law marriage advocates would join me this cause?

Did anyone see that left-wing nutcase, Bush, carrying the Mexican flag at a rally last week? See the travesty here http://www.missourileadership.com/story/2006/4/5/6332/23807

Equally as bad, the First lady of descent, as if her uncouth jokes aren't enough to make even the most liberal squirm, says that she doesn't see anything wrong with singing the National Anthem in Spanish. Hogwash!! Perhaps her and her old man should compare notes on this issue.Jorge has a different opinion-despite the fact that he's in bed with Fox.. Either way, both are pro-Hispanicization of America..

What these losers don't realize is that our language is one of the cornerstones of our prosperous and successful republic. The tragedy of what is happening, considering the adulteration of our culture and language, is that it is serving to divide us further as a people. Balkanization, linguistic enclaves? Well, I guess it worked well for the tower of Babel... Are the Bushites part of some Anti-Christ faction? Or, simply quixotic idealists? Whatever the case, allowing another language to adulterate and diminish our own is one that imperils the purity, stability, sovereignty, and longevity of our Nation.

Again, I assert: is liberalism synonymous with masochism? White guilt, self-loathers, white apologists, whatever your reason for allowing other races to trample on you and surrender without a fight (in this obvious Mexican-declared war), wake up.

    In English Only?
    By Bob Schieffer

In the ongoing effort to make our national debate about all the wrong things
we may have reached a milestone with the controversy over whether its
alright for the National Anthem to be sung in Spanish

The blogs went nuts about it of course -- going nuts is their natural state.
Talk radio saw danger ahead -- cover the children's ears.

I'm with them on insisting that everyone who wants to be a citizen should
learn English. In an increasingly diverse country, common experiences have
become rarer and rarer and our language is one of the few things we all
share. There is strength in that.

But the anthem in English only? I don't get it.

It made me proud to be an American when they tore down the Berlin Wall as We
Shall Overcome -- an American spiritual -- played on the young people's boom
boxes. And who among us can forget how we felt when those brave Chinese
students brought a papier-mache Statue of Liberty into Tiananmen Square.

When people take our symbols of freedom as their own, it doesn't weaken our
values, it affirms they are universal. That makes us stronger, not weaker.

So I hope our anthem will be sung one day in a hundred languages and I am
not worried that translating it will somehow dilute its message. Translation
hasn't seemed to hurt the Bible.

And since I speak neither Hebrew nor Greek, I'm glad they went to the
trouble on that one. Otherwise, I might have missed the whole thing.
