Ed,

Liberal darky that I am, I consider you white too, based on your 
description.  And I don't mind or care if you want to celebrate any of the 
cultures you named.  And I don't object when Irish-Americans celebrate St. 
Patrick's Day either, nor have I noticed liberals of any shade complaining 
about that day to me.  Hell, I made my own corned beef from scratch this 
year to celebrate St. Patricks.

I would be concerned if you needed a bedsheet to celebrate, and a burning 
cross to light your way, but otherwise, like Rhett (one of my favorite 
invented white guys), I don't give a damn.
