MAC SEEKS ARTISTS FOR ARTWALK 2006
   

  The Moscow Arts Commission is issuing a Call for Artists for Moscow ARTWALK 2006.  This event, which in 2005 featured 32 participating businesses and organizations and dozens of artists, is a collaboration between the City of Moscow, Moscow Downtown Association and the Chamber of Commerce.  

   

  Downtown businesses will be teamed up with artists whose work will be displayed in their places of business from June 16 - September 9.  A self-guided brochure will be distributed to visitors and community members to assist them in their tour.

   

  Original work, not previously displayed during ARTWALK will be considered including painting, drawing, fiber art, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, wood, etc.  Artists must be able to provide 3 - 6 pieces framed and wired for hanging if applicable.  Work should be priced to sell with a 20% commission taken into consideration.  Artists outside the community are invited to participate this year if they are able to deliver and pick up their work.
