Yes, Tony, Plan B is a medicine. Here is some information from various websites.

"Each Plan B tablet contains 0.75 mg of a single active steroid ingredient, levonorgestrel ..., a totally synthetic progestogen."

In other words the active ingredient in Plan B is a synthetic form of progesterone.

"Progesterone or progesterone-like substances called progestogens or progestins are also ingested by women in birth control pills, menopausal hormone replacement therapy, or just sometimes to induce a menstrual period or regulate abnormal bleeding problems if menses are skipping or bleeding is irregular or prolonged."

Joan and G. Crabtree,

A question regarding definitions: Can we accurately describe a substance
that when ingested directly results in the death of a human being, "medicine"?

The so-called morning after pill is nothing less than POISON! Pure and
simple. And as for CHOICE, no one has the right to choose death for another.

Here is a question of "rights" which makes Gay marriage utterly absurd in
comparison. What of the aggrieved third party and it's unalienable rights?

Best, --Tony
