Tonight the P&Z voted 5-1 with one abstention to deny the Thompson rezone of 77 acres to motor business. The commission gave careful consideration to the comments presented by citizens on Feb 22, and several of them expressed a desire to see a mixed use proposal for the site, but they lamented that no mixed use zone exists.
