  Thank you for everything you have given this community. Thanks for your  in-depth insight and willingness to look and question things beyond there  superficial surface. Thank you for your patience with others. Thanks for  sticking up for me and others on Vision 2020 when people trashed us for our  expressed opinions. Thank you Phil, for showing members of Vision 2020 that  people, despite their passionate disagreements can still be friends. Thanks for  buying me beer.  Thanks for hanging out with me on the fourth of July  weekend. Thanks for teaching me about geology, rocks, the aquifer, and what  lies beneath out feet. Thanks for opening our minds to new ideas. But most of  all, Phil, thanks for being a friend.
  
  I know you have moved on Phil, but I know somehow, someway, you will still be  able to read this. If not the words, then you will read it in my heart-as one  of your many talents, and perhaps greatest of all, is that you were always able  to read beyond the words of people and go right for heart.
