Donovan,

I'll leave Don to address the remarkably hostile and rude portion of your 
post.

When I was shopping for a cordless drill at Tri State, the gentleman who was 
helping me told me that manufacturers that provide big box stores make a 
different product for those stores; people who bought at those stores were 
not buying the same item that Tri State sold.

This was in '99, and I do not remember if he specifically named Walmart, so 
I won't make that claim here.  Based on what he said, I would not assume as 
you do that what Don wrote was 'ignorant gibberish.'
