[Vision2020] Trinity Fest Concerns re City Council

I was merely responding to Chas' comments without reading anything into
them.

His comment:

" . . . so let's make alcohol a part of our children's lives while we are
still in charge, and shed all of our hypocritical, anal, anti-alcohol
angst."

How would you interpret such a comment without reading something into it?

Everybody is exposed, to one degree or another, to drug and alcohol abuse
without it becoming "part of their lives".

While my father served with the Los Angeles Police Department I was exposed
to the entire spectrum of drug and alcohol abuse, but none of it ever became
a part of my life.

Hansen, I feel fairly sure that Mr. UK was not advocating the consumption of

alcoholic beverages by children. Merely that children be given an
opportunity to see adults imbibe responsibly. To attempt to hide the fact
that beer, wine, and spirits exist is to make them seem far more glamorous
then they truly are.
