Moving along to what's REALLY important . . .
When, Mr. Williams, did *you* learn not only that an adult predator had
abused one of our community's *very* young teen girls but also that a serial
predatory pedophile had operated undetected in our community for 18 months?
According to your pastor, the information was available to you sometime in
late 2005.
If that's the case, I'd like to know what makes you think it proper to
"infiltrate" V2020 now with all your silly sports posts to try to shift
attention away from real issues facing our community after you *chose* to
remain silent while privy to *important* information pertaining to the
safety of our children, information that was withheld from the vast majority
of our community?
Somehow, I don't think God is going to look too kindly on your strategy of
obfuscation that harms *all* of God's children. If you *knew*, and you said
nothing . . . did nothing . . . to protect our children yet think nothing of
posting all these frivolous sports posts now, then shame on you, Mr.
Williams :-(
May God have mercy on your soul.

Well, the 1st round of the 2006 World Cup in Germany is all but over, with
14 teams having secured their spots in the subsequent knockout rounds. Two
matches remain in Group G: Switzerland vs. S. Korea and France vs. Togo.
Both the Suisse and Korean sides have 4pts. in the group, France has 2pts.
and Togo will be going home no matter what with 0pts. In the matchup
between Korea and the Suisse, the winner would advance, and the loser would
have to rely on a French loss or draw with the Togolese to advance. Right
now the French HAVE to win against Togo in order to get the requisite 3pts.
to advance. Even if there was a draw between S. Korea and Switzerland, a
French win against Togo would place them even with those two sides at 5pts,
and it would come down to Goal Differential, which currently is locked at
2goals for each team. Then, I believe, it would be decided by Goals
Against, or ## of goals opponents have scored against you. My prediction:
Switzerland defeats S. Korea, and France defeats Togo, sending them both
home and securing spots in the knockout round.
Teams who've already qualified for the next round: Group A (Germany and
Ecuador), Group B (England and Sweden), Group C (Argentina and Holland),
Group D (Portugal and Mexico), Group E (Italy and Ghana), Group F (Brazil
and Australia) and Group H (Spain and Ukraine).
